i have a blue black dye that says you should lighten your hair before you dye it. and if i had an extra $100 (which is what a hair dresser said it would cost) laying about i would probably spend it on my son

I bleached my hair about 6 or 7 times last year to get the "perfect" color. It didnt work. My hair doesnt take dye very well and runied it completely. Bleach should strip your hair of all of its color. You COULD bleach it now or asap if you dont wanna look horrible but I definately don't reccmoned it. If anything dye it back to a darker color and just keep it at that. If you really wanna dye it a lighter color bleach it again and leave it in for a while longer on the parts that look like spots. The best thing you can do is see a pro if you don't wanna have a frizz attack. Use pantine pro-v restoritives if the frizzieness happens!

You dont seem to to specific on explaining what you did? Did you put the bleach all over, or just in foils...You can bleach at any time but, why? Hispanic and blacks are the hardest to bleach..Takes a 40 volume and heat to get it blonde. My suggestion? Color it back to natural and forget it..Or if you are really gun ho about doing it, go have a professional do it and get the job done right..

You do not bleach your hair to make it blue black, you just get a black dye that has a blue base. I think you should stop what your doing and go to a salon to have your hair fixed.

First of all why would you bleach your hair? What ethnicity are you? I don't think anyone other than caucasion women should have blonde hair. My roomate who is Hispanic bleaches her hair. She had the most beautiful brown hair before, now her hair is ruined. It looks unnatural and cheap. He hair looks britle and dry, just like hay. You should probably see a professional hair stylist who would be able to fix your hair. I would suggest to try other colors that aren't as harsh as bleach.
