obviously a vet is the best for her, but if you can't find emergency vets it'll have to wait till morning. you know your cat, if you think you can, try wrapping her in a towel or blankie and open her mouth to inspect, but only if you don't think it won't traumatize her too much. only then can you see what's going on in there, it could be an abcessed tooth, mouth sores which are very painful which are cause by a number of reasons like a virus or something simple like chewing on the wrong plant.

for now, give her baby food and ginger ale if she'll take it herself or try using a dropper (like an eye dropper or medicine dropper) to give her the food and soda. but make sure to get her to the vet asap because if the mouth problem is cause by a bad tooth, the infection can and will travel through her body or if it's a virus, it can be contagious and very serious. don't give her baby tylenol or anything like that, just stick to the baby food and ginger ale until you can get her to the vet.

Several things come to mind:
Virus like Feline Respiratory infections can cause excessive drooling especially if you also note eyes or nose discharge. Pain can be from lesions also from the virus.

Also it could be foreign body in the roof of mouth like a tack or needle or other sharp objects. (does she have a cat tree with carpet hanging loose were she could get a staple that is used to attache the carpet to the cat tree)

Also it could be thread sometimes they play with thread and it can get wrapped around the tongue cause drooling and terrible pain.

If you want to see for yourself you can get a large tongue depressor or Popsicles stick to pry open mouth with out getting bit and have someone hold flashlight. If you see any of this things she will most likely need vet to remove.

And of course a tooth could also be the problem you will sometimes see puss come from her sinuses or a bad odor from her mouth usually with a tooth that is causing havoc.

Take Smokey to the Vet A.S.A.P. If it's a tooth that is infected, the Vet will know what to do.

Why do the cats could desire to be over 20 lbs.? the only breed of cats that of course weigh that lots are Maine Coons. At 3-months old, they could desire to be eating kitten foodstuff until eventually they're 6-months old. do no longer provide them human foodstuff because of the fact they gained't get the foodstuff they could desire to enhance up healthful. call your vet for foodstuff ideas.

Sounds like she could have an infected tooth. You'll have to take her to the vet so they can remove it, and start her on some antibiotics.

Your kitty really needs to see a vet. It's probably a tooth, but once my cat Kiwi had similar symptoms to Smokey's, and it turned out to be an oral ulcer. Your vet will know upon examination, but please don't delay.

Poor baby!

Take her to the vet. If she's hurting like that, she needs attention already.

Good luck!
