It means if something interesting is happening, then I want to drop everything and join in, you are willing to roll with things, open to adventure.

If you're spontaneous, it could be either a good or bad thing. It means you like to do things spur of the moment (without warning). You think of things suddenly, not carefully planned out or anything. You might also say random things that have absolutely nothing to do with what people are talking about, or just come out of nowhere.
