Let me ask you this as well as some of those of have replied to this question. How can there be two truths? or for that matter hundreds if not thousands? Either Jesus was the Messiah or he wasn't, either the trinity is real or it isn't. It is impossible for all beliefs to be true. Throughout the Bible there are refrences to the only true God, one faith, and coming to an accurate knowledge of the truth.
Matthew 7:13 "Go in through the narrow gate; because broad and spacious is the road leading off into destruction, and many are the ones going in through it; 14 whereas narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it.
15 “Be on the watch for the false prophets that come to YOU in sheep’s covering, but inside they are ravenous wolves. 16 By their fruits YOU will recognize them. Never do people gather grapes from thorns or figs from thistles, do they? 17 Likewise every good tree produces fine fruit, but every rotten tree produces worthless fruit; 18 a good tree cannot bear worthless fruit, neither can a rotten tree produce fine fruit. 19 Every tree not producing fine fruit gets cut down and thrown into the fire. 20 Really, then, by their fruits YOU will recognize those [men].
21 “Not everyone saying to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of the heavens, but the one doing the will of my Father who is in the heavens will. 22 Many will say to me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and expel demons in your name, and perform many powerful works in your name?’ 23 And yet then I will confess to them: I never knew YOU! Get away from me, YOU workers of lawlessness. " These scriptures cleary state that there will be people who believe they are worshipping in God's name but infact they were not. It also gives an illustration of how we can recognize false religion by its fruits. If a religion (the tree) is producing followers that are not acting in accordance with the Bible then these would be likened to rotton fruit and thus be identified as false religion.
Ephesians 4:1-5 "1 I, therefore, the prisoner in [the] Lord, entreat YOU to walk worthily of the calling with which YOU were called, 2 with complete lowliness of mind and mildness, with long-suffering, putting up with one another in love, 3 earnestly endeavoring to observe the oneness of the spirit in the uniting bond of peace. 4 One body there is, and one spirit, even as YOU were called in the one hope to which YOU were called; 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism; 6 one God and Father of all [persons], who is over all and through all and in all." According to the Bible there is only one faith which means there can only be one truth. Is it not a contradiction then to say that all beliefs lead to the same result?
John 17:3"This means everlasting life, their taking in knowledge of you, the only true God, and of the one whom you sent forth, Jesus Christ."
Mark 7:6 "He said to them: “Isaiah aptly prophesied about YOU hypocrites, as it is written, ‘This people honor me with [their] lips, but their hearts are far removed from me. 7 It is in vain that they keep worshiping me, because they teach as doctrines commands of men.’ 8 Letting go the commandment of God, YOU hold fast the tradition of men.” The Bible warns us that if we hold on to the traditions of men we are not following his commands. If we worship without truth we are worshipping in vain.

a million. they are sola scripturists, something the Bible states against. 2. they don't stick to the bible thoroughly, they don't have faith interior the Trinity. 3. They bypass to church do they not? something that became utilized by potential of Pagans and Jews? conferences on a undeniable day of the week, a week? it is not considerable if Pagans used something the way we do now. that would not advise they own the rights to those techniques. And it surely would not advise in any way that we are following Pagan ideals. 2000 years in the past, if human beings worshipped pencils in churches, and then now whilst those techniques have been long forgotten, I used a pencil as quickly as at Church, does that advise i'm worshipping the pencils as they did? No. additionally, the JW church expected many things might take place interior the early 1900s. Did they ever take place? No. consequently their church could not probably be ' Gods church'. They thrive on fake advice.

God is merely a placebo effect...
A placebo is a drug, or assistment substance which, when given to a patient effects their resistance without having any attributes to do so. An example would be a sugar pill given to someone, while telling that person that it will prevent them from aquiring the flu. They will then be statistically more likely to resist the flu. Or there is this:
Why do placebos work?
Tor Wager makes his living inflicting pain. As a psychologist at Columbia University, he zaps people with brief electric surges in order to study the placebo effect, one of the most mysterious phenomena in modern medicine. In one recent experiment, Wager and a group of colleagues delivered harsh shocks to the wrists of 24 test subjects. Then the researchers rubbed an inert cream on the subjects’ wrists but told them it contained an analgesic. When the scientists delivered the next set of shocks, eight of the subjects reported experiencing significantly less pain.
What this essentially proves is that the human mind is capable of convincing itself to physically react to belief. Therefore, it is completely within reason to compare religion to a placebo... they feel that god is there, because they think he is there. Thus, rendering the feeling argument less profound.
But, as to the answer of there being one true religion, the simple fact is no. There is not. If there were indeed one true religion, one that had everything perfectly right, there would be no arguement against it. There are FAR too many logical fallacies and inconsistancies in christianity for it too be correct. The best conclusion that any religious/non-religious person could draw is that we simply do not know anything. The difference (or arguement if you will) between theists and non-theists is regarding proof. An atheist believes that there is no god because there is absolutely no proof whatsoever to support belief in one, while theists claim faith and disregard logical arguements that counteract their beliefs. The truest and most important thing to remember is that people will always beleive what they want to believe so be sure to keep conversation civil. While I personally strongly disbelieve in a "god" I do realize that there is no way that I can know for sure... but I work off the principle that, to believe in a god requires evidence... not the other way around (the old "you can't disprove god" arguement is counterintuitive to me).

christians will say christianity is the only true religion. Because the bible says so...
I am wiccan and I do not think there is only ONE true religion. wiccan is just as true as mormon, christianity etc...
Its how you believe that makes it real or not. It is what you feel inside, it is what is inside of you...
Being atheist is just as right or real as religion..

There's No "One" true religion {or person) which is the way, truth, and life. Every individual must find his or her own way/path to acquire purpose for his or her life, to acquire peace of mind, and to be happy. If a person's way of life, gives them the ability to remain calm, patient, and peaceful inwardly, as well as outwardly {= tolerance) in the face of difficulties and harm, then they're way of life is working for them. And if they are easily angered, not patient, and are causing harm to others, then they're way of life is not working for them. "A person's 'way of life' should do No harm to anyone." If a person's religion or philosophy of life helps them to be very patient, tolerant, forgiving, caring about others - "without harming anyone in life", then it will bring them purpose, a stable peace of mind, and Happiness.
A religion or philosophy is one's personal choice. And everyone must find their own path to acquire peace of mind, purpose for their lives, and Happiness.
*For me, personally, it is Buddhism. It teaches in detail, how to cultivate patience, wisdom, altruism, loving-kindness, forgiveness, gentleness, and insight. But for another, Christianity is the path for them, and for another Islam might be the path for them. For another, Hinduism or Judaism is the path for them, etc. etc.
I do not view humanity as being evil sinners, but having much goodness within. And mankind has within themselves all the abilities to accomplish anything/to be peaceful & successful and to live to his or her fullest in this life. Humanity has much goodness, and we are not evil sinners.
For me, the logical choice was Buddhism. It is a peaceful philosophy of life, which respects others, and does no harm to any person. For every person's life is sacred.
We all however, should respect the Free Will of other people, not forcing our beliefs/our will upon others. As we respect the free will of others, we will begin to acquire some stable peace of mind, and happiness.

Yes, tradition is important.
(in one view, it's the ultimate democracy. It means giving your ancestors the vote.)
Let's have more good old-time religion.
Poseidon, Hermes, Moloch, Astarte...
"Give me that old time religion, that old-time religion, it's good enough for me...
It was good enough for Dagon,
A conservative old pagan
who still votes for Ronald Reagan
So it's good enough for me..."
