how can i download youtube vids, or any video that doesnt have a download link, onto my phone..
is there like a 'recorder' that captures the videos or anything like that..

I just found this site a few days ago. You can go to it by using the browser on your phone and browse YouTube, Google Videos, Dailymotion, etc.
You pick a video, the site converts it, and you download it directly to your phone. It can convert to 3gp or MP4. (I use 3gp for my Pocket PC)
The site is free and works great. You can donate $5 or $10 to allow more downloads per day and increase the quality of the videos.

Try TubeHunter which downloads videos from over 20 video sharing webs and ave youtube videos to 3G2/3GP.

Copy it to your P.C. then connect your phone to your P.C. then file transfer to your phone.
This will work as long as you can connect your phone to your P.C.
