Probably the most important change occurred is when the nation when from a monarch style of government to a federal type of policy....

Imagine this, I am assuming that you heard of the tale of the troll? Well, all ac cross Europe there was this notion for certain kingdoms to act as trolls (collecting tolls, in the form of taxes from the people) prior to this century. Well blow-in-be-hole, nationalism was changed from a bunch of these toll hungry kings and queens (small kingdoms - because Europe was litter with them) that people actually went broke...they couldn't save up a penny if they could...so, rebellion....

The Nationalism changed Europe and a new form of economic growth began to occur...of course, not everyone liked it because economic activity came to a halt in some areas in the 30's. But, now if one wanted to work he only paid taxes to one federal govt.... this is the idea of where private property came into place...if I was farmer Joe from down the road, i had to pay a toll to all the kingdoms I was pasisng through...thus, all the castles got richer....

Nationalism is being loyal to your own country.

So, the question is asking, did people who lived in Europe have more pride and loyalty for it in the 1900s or during 949?

As an American I answer this question. There are super cultural adjustments between international locations. it fairly is often why they formed in actuality. a number of those adjustments may well be disregarded and that i say that understanding like language is the biggest to the way previous nationalism. a number of cultural adjustments are very considerable and extremely gruesome. Corruption. The Catholic Church helps very primitive start administration in Mexico and their inhabitants is already out of control. And extra.. or perhaps though. Take a exact look: the tendency is for international locations to split.. not convey jointly. I see a severe function for the ecu, yet I additionally see international locations going their own techniques after seperation from the biggest bodies. And as long because of the fact the ecu and the United international locations are in place, perchance.. perchance, it won't rely. yet my united states is rarely going to league with Mexico except the corruption and kin making plans is put in place.. and quickly. and whilst I say that, the Mexican government is already inquiring for the help of my united states and what interior the international is going to take place next?

short answer:

Nationalism is loyalty to a nation as opposed to loyalty to a king or city-state.

Nationalism led to WWI and WWII, which changed the borders of Europe and led to the deaths of millions of people.
