You mean "strangers"? Why no, it's much better to keep yourself locked inside your coccoon.

Coming from NYC, I can not say that I generally enjoy talking to strangers. In southern CA, where I live now, it almost seems that starting overly friendly and open conversations with people you've never met before is the law of the land. Makes me crazy. But that being said...

It ultimately depends on how the stranger initiates the conversation and what they say. If they're like most southern Calis who accost you and start right in with their opening statements, I'll blow them off, give them a dark look, ignore them, or ask them who they are and why they're talking to me.

If, instead, they say "Excuse me sir, may I ask you a question?" Or "Pardon me, do you have the time?" I will be far more responsive and friendly.

But I don't like having long, revealing discussion with people I've never met before in my life. One of the reasons I consider CA a very weird place.

Of course, this all depends on your age and the situation you're in. If you're young and on a street by yourself, to use an extreme case, you should talk to no one you don't know well. In fact, running and screaming for dear life might be the best course of action.

What in the world is a strager?

Depends. If a stranger tells you to get out of the street a truck is coming, I sure as heck would listen! Anything else, I would beware! If a stranger comes up to you & tries to start a conversation, move on quickly. They might be harmless but you don't know so don't take chances!

If you mean for legal advice. No!

If you are talking about thieves, best to find a real lawyer to get some advice.

If your state still allows and your lawyers are still doing it, they should give you legal advice to assist you to better understand your needs. If you have a case which a lawyer can help with then, you should, pay for their services.

Probably better off not listening to you, cuz you have no clue as to what you are saying.

Do what your parents say.
