I have no problem with any religion. It's the zealots that scare me...

My daughter's daycare provider is a born again Christian. At first, I was a little taken aback by her language. (She spoke of being "saved" and that weirded me out a bit.) But she has actually become one of my best friends. Her strong faith has actually helped ME in looking at things in different ways. I am sure for many this is going to sound strange, but when someone has been nasty and unkind to me, she puts it in a different perspective stating it is the work of Satan, and that I should pray for that person. It actually does make me feel better, before I would want to choke the life out of that mean person. My friend and I may not always agree, but I try to be openminded and have seen many things in a different light.

My personal experience in visiting with a born-again Christian left me feeling very sad. The ones I have met seemed to think they had bought a ticket for a free ride to heaven. Hopefully, someone who has this born-again feeling doesn't let the feeling stop there and they continue in a desire to be Christ-like and read scriptures for themselves in search of True understanding.

All Christians are born-again. The bible is quite clear on that.
Where a dispute breaks out, if it does, is whether only those who acknowledge and call themselves "born again" are the Christians (putting a good number on the "outside", as only nominal Christians) or whether those claiming "born again" as a particular label have mistaken the term and its meaning, since it applies to all, as you can't be a Christian without it.

I would rather not think about them at all. I find them too dangerous and retro in their thinking.
I grew up in a small Southern town outnumbered by the born-again Christians (mostly Southern Baptists and Church of Christ). I had my first disagreement with them just after I had turned 11 yo. I think that is why I am liberal today. It was over doing folk dances on our own property. My church recognizes all other Christians and Churches and they do not. My Church thinks; they believe in faith alone.

"born again Christian" is just a term used by Christians to describe their conversion. They get this from Jesus talking with a man named Nicodemus. Check out John 3 for more info.

I have met born again Christians. In fact every Christian I have ever met is born again as that is part of the criteria. I LIKE EM MWHA HA HA HA HA HA I AM ONE. Christians don't always call themselves born again Christians but it doesn't mean they aren't born again.

Have lived a decadent booze, drug and sex fueled lifestyle but are getting too old for it now so decide to stop others from enjoying what they have already milked to death but are no longer physically capable of without literally kicking the bucket.

meh as for the born again believers, they are the same as "normal" believers. they just term themselves somethign different. it doesnt mean they left christ and came back to him. usually refers to one whos been baptised. but i think it refers to any christian now.
