im just asking,im a muslim...i respect every christians,buddhist or anytin as they are...im just asking,y are christians too open minded at times?i haf seen many videos n jokes about people making fun of jesus christ n all..and the people all just laughs along....
i mean isnt it not right?....thank you...god bless all of you..

It isn't right, but at the same time, people have a right to say what they want to say. There are jokes making fun of atheists, christians, wiccans, satanists, muslims, hindus, and everything else that is out there. Unfortunately, it's human nature to make fun of something that you don't fully understand. But, at the same time, I don't think Christians are too tolerant of it. I think someone's got a right to say what they want. If someone jokes about Christ, it doesn't hurt my faith in Him. My faith is still the same. My faith is stronger than someone's jokes.

Well, I don't think anyone should take anything like that so seriously that they allow it to ruin their day. But on the contrary, I've found a good number of Christians closed-minded. Not all, but some.

Christians in the West value the interplay of ideas. We do not restrict discussions or even ridicule, because to do so would be to impose our ideas on other people.
The best way to ensure respect is to not impose it. For once respect is imposed, it is seen as undeserved.

I don't like it when I see those kinds of videos and hear those jokes.
But I know that the time of judgement is coming.
Christians are commanded to preach the Gospel. not to judge.

I bet you have "seen many people who CLAIM to be christian......."
The christian way is VERY narrow. Far more than the world would have you believe.
It IS NOT right in any regard.

sorry, open minded means they are acceptable to new ideas without bias against them. they are definately not open minded. if u throw out any idea that doesnt go along with the bible its instantly false and unacceptable. thats narrowminded.
