First of all need to know the engine size, 4, 6 or 8 cylinder as well as whether its 2.2, or 3.0, 4.0, 5.0 etc... My best advice to you is to get that information and head to your local autozone / or advance auto parts store with that information and they should be able to tell you exactly what you need to know, because without the engine infomation its pretty much like looking for a needle in a haystack

frequently the firing order is solid into the intake manifold .. 162435 On a cool engine, remove the spark plug on #a million cylinder and carry your thumb over the hollow. have a buddy slowly turn the engine over by hand ( utilizing a socket & bar on the engine crank bolt) make positive you're turning it interior the right route. because the cylinder comes up on the compression stroke the rigidity will push your thumb off of the hollow. run this cylinder as a lot because the very genuine of the stroke. ** noting the route the rotor is popping* Now have a glance on the area of the ign rotor. it will be pointing on the #a million terminal on the distributor cap. ( you would ought to have the cap bumped off to make sure this) this turns into conscious of the #a million cylinder wire position. Now in case you bear in thoughts which way the rotor is popping. set some thing of the wires in firing order relative to this starting up factor.
