Like all the harsh press the Fox network gives Christians? How unfair!
Talk about paranoid delusions! If anything, Christianity is *idealized* by the press. Just because you hear one news story told in a tone of voice that doesn't particularly agree with you doesn't mean the whole world is conspiring against you! Put your reality-colored glasses on and look at how much religion is implicitly praised and shown as a standard of goodness, even when Catholic priests are molesting children and their church members are hiding it. If the media was "scrutinizing" Christianity, don't you think that would have blown the lid off?
You're demented.

Christianity is scrutinized?? I keep up with the news pretty well... and the only religious scrutiny I see is toward the Islamic faith - or those without faith at all.
And you should expect to see Christianity in the news often. After all, it IS the dominating religion in western culture.
Maybe the idea of that documentary is a bit threatening to you because if it's true... it will undoubtedly shake the foundations of all Christian belief.

The media mainly scrutinizes Cathoic Christians. This is because they are quite rash and have very little patience. This is why in Ireland The protestants and catholics fight. Catholics are very pushy when it comes to religion. Their view on religion is if u dont believe wht i'm saying **** you. I know ths becasue I attended a catholic school for 10 years which i regret amazingly. I am a Irish Protestant now. I'm not very religious howver in my opinion any type of very religious group are alwasy scrutinized bcause their kind of mentally unstable.

The secular left-wing media in America think that Christians are deluded, and they go after any chance to undermine Christianity like a lion after red meat. The Truth is disturbing to some people.

I dunno that they do ... I would say the top stories are still death and destruction
but, its a hot button for the country ... and its easily scrutinized
and because there is probably a greater chance of biblical things being dis-proven rather than proven
think of the ratings
link999 - I agree - hey, remeber years ago people in england got tired of the church dictating thier lives, so they bailed and started their own country ... if the christians keep this crap up we're gonna end up in New Canada :P

Because Christianity is the dominant belief of the conservatives in this country.
The media is run by the liberal left, so they enjoy attacking anything that is part of the conservative right, which includes Christianity.

The same reason that customers come up to me at work and go "excuse me... do you work here?" then ask a tiny little work related question just to open the door to WASTING MY WHOLE FREAKING DAY TELLING ME ABOUT THEIR RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS, holding me hostage because if I walk away they're tell the manager that I dared to be rude. Seriously, christians are the most repulsive, pushy, psychotic little death cultists in the world. I come across a jew, do I have to sit there and listen to the 10 plagues of Egypt and the Covenant of Abraham and Moses? NO! Do Buddhists run around with big signs shrieking at people "Desire leads to suffering! repent!!!" while they're trying to go to the bank? Do Satanists run around protesting christian rock concerts shrieking at all the people "YOUR ALL GOING TO BE SLAVES IN HEAVEN! YOUR GOD MURDERED SODOM!!!"?
So boohoo if somebody dared to walk up to one of your holy sites and show you... "hey buddy... nothing's there.. they LIED to you". So maybe when these zombie worshipping freaks quit spewing their deathcult propaganda and trying to force it down everybody's throats using our own tax dollars to do it, then they'll be better liked.
That being said, I'm going to start organizing protests to picket outside churches every sunday morning in retaliation to the Christians holding hands trying to redrover me away from the last metal concert I went to. I laid that little freak out with one pop to the jaw and told his fellow protestors if they didn't like it, they could always turn the other cheek and **** themselves.

Christianity is the most mocked and hated religion today.
Jesus himself was mocked and hated, what is going to change 2000 years later? There is truth to ignorance is bliss. Let them have their "moment". Stand for what you believe.

Perhaps because Christianity represents the biggest threat to our Constitutionally guaranteed freedoms. Perhaps because of the efforts of religionists to turn our free society into a Christian version of Iran.
And if you ask me, they aren't targeting it ENOUGH.

They are liberals, athiests and evolutionists who take advantage of the age of grace, forgiveness, turning the other cheek and loving those that hate you which are teachings of the Christians.
