English-Arabic Question?

Question

This is kind of a strange question but i was wondering if anybody here who is fluent in arabic could tell me how to say
"Where are they". ("they" refers to objects not people, just in case that makes any difference) it is very important that it is translated correctly.

Yea ,it differs.
referring to bunch of things "non-human " is translated like that :
أين هِيَ ؟
which is pronounced "ayna heya?"
while if it was referring to people it would be :
أين هُم؟
pronounced "ayna hom?"
In Arabic we don't translate verb to be in such a case ,it's meaning is already included.
Also note that ,in Arabic when referring to "things,plural i mean" we use the singular feminine pronoun هِيَ

well i'll make it as simple as i can..
ayn اين means "where"
ayn al kotob ? means where are the books u dont need to use "heya or hom"
u dont need to say ayn homa al kotob"books"?
u can just say ayn al mafateeh"keys" where are the keys?
u see?
if u are talking about anything or anybody u dont HAVE to tell if its a male or a female object or living thing ...
u can say ayn al fatah or ayn heya al fatah
which means uwhere is the girl so instead of being confused cancell the "heya or homa"
just say ayn al fatah ? where is the girl..
ayn al ashyaa... where are the things? ...
where are "they" is going ti put u into much trouble of knowing wheather these things are considered musclain or feminen ... u know what i mean?

in arabic it is should be said : ayna hom
slang egyptian : homa fein
in the gulf countries it is said the way NY gal stated : waynun

with all respect to Emmy but if you said ayna heya to an arab he will think that you are refering to a female

In Arabic it's difference . Theye is used for both .
Example : Where are the books ?
................ Where are they .?
Ain al kutub ?
Ain hum ?

wayn el (insert name of objects here) where is or are depending on the word you put after.
