Yes, it is actually considered hypothermia. This is possibly a symptom of hypothyroidism. You should probably see the doctor, a simple blood test will tell you. Then again it also depends on how you took the temperature. Tympanic thermometers (ear) often will read low, as well as axillary (armpit) readings. Some people also have cool mouths, so again, just visit your doctor to make sure. Frequent headaches should probably be evaluated as well

It may just be normal for you. My normal temp is 93.2, and I was in the hospital for nearly 3 weeks with pre-eclamspa. The nurses never believed me, and it took a week fro them to accept my temperature!

Just know that if you run a temperature of 98, you're running a 3-4 degree fever.

The averaged normal oral body temperature is 98.6F. What that means is that 97f - 99.6F is "normal". I typically run about 96.7F. Your normal body temperature changes by as much as 1°F (0.6°C) throughout the day, depending on how active you are and the time of day. Body temperature is also affected by hormone levels, which is more marked in women.

Unless your body temperature goes below 89.9F, which is considered hypothermia, I wouldn't worry about it.

By the way, I have a medical background and have taken vital signs many a time.

my temp is always around 94 unless I'm sick, but it seems you have a normal temp most of the time and 94 would be very low for you. if you are still like this in a few days then you should probably see a doctor.

Yes that's actually pretty low. About 97 degrees Fahrenheit is the average human core temperature. You might wanna get that checked out.

It's awful low. You should go see a doc. My sister has a low temperature, but her's is around 97. 90 degrees is considered hypothermia.

Be sure to leave the thermometer under your tongue long enough to use one that takes temp at your ear. 'Normal' is 98.6 F What are you doing for the headaches?

It's a bit lower than what I usually hear about- my dad (a nurse) says 96-98 is preferred.
