The "do not call" registry doesn't apply to survey takers....any ideas of how to get them to quit calling?

Hi ! I work for a survey company and that is what they do. To answer your question. Just say you dont want to do the survey politely, and we would hang-up. If you get a call from the same agency again, just mention POLITELY you already made claer that you dont want to do the survey. We are human beings too and we do our job. And we even get incentives for completing a survey, and thats where we get the food for our families. And more so, at least where I work, we have a very strict policy on not annoying the people we call, so when you say no like twice, we already get the message.
but where i work in, we do very short surveys, and we properly identify ourselves and we mention that we dont sell anything.
surveys are there as research materials for improvemnts of products and services, be it from the government, or a private company.
but please just be polite.

Not that I'm aware of. Those surveys are like collection agencies. If the caller identifies who they're calling for (i.e. the company paying them), you might try contacting the business/organization responsible & telling them you do not wish to receive these annoyance calls...

There is a national list for people who wish to no longer receive telemarketing calls. If you sign up with them, then telemarketers no longer have a legal right to call you and if they do, all you have to say is that you're on this national list. They won't call again because they know if they do then you can take legal action.

Carry on a conversation with them for like an hour.
Or
Make Weird sounds and talk weird. Make you sound like your from outerspace. They will hang up.

buy yourself a soccer whistle.....
and when they phone.....and you are sure its them......blow as hard as you can on the whistle..... will be good for your stress level as well....
that spesific caller wont call again.....
