I almost always feel bloated or even sick after I eat, even if I don't eat much. Like a little while ago I ate half a pb& j sandwich, and my stomach is visibly bloated. What can I do? It's like this at every meal.

Some history:
I've dealt with this for about a year now. Any time I eat anything acidic like tomato sauce or orange juice, I get a sick feeling. Sometimes it feels like someone's putting out a cigarette in my stomach, but not always.
Even drinking water or other beverages leaves me feeling a little bloated.
I have been burping more than usual, but it's not foul, and thankfully has no scent whatsoever, though sometimes I almost vomit because it feels like somethings coming up when I burp.

This is a vague kind of symptom, I'd need to know more in order to answer properly. Right off the bat it sounds like H. Pylori (which, by the way, is a bacteria that lives in the stomach and can easily be tested for and treated without worry). With H. Pylori you will also notice things like when you need a bowel movement you can't wait, it has to be RIGHT NOW. You may notice nausea or indigestion eating something quite innocent (say oatmeal) but be able to eat a spicy pizza without ill effects. You may have gas, up and/or down. It's a very common bacteria, easily fixed and left untreated will cause problems up the road, like ulcers.

You may also have a form of irritable bowel syndrome, but I'm banking on H. Pylori.

It could be a number of things: a parasite like girardia, or as other people mentioned, an ulcer caused by H. pylori, or irritable bowel syndrome (which is just a fancy name for not knowing what is causing the problem). Other symptoms and your recent medical history are needed to narrow down the cause. Girardia usually is accompanied by foul belching, but it can sometimes have very vague symptoms. Ulcers are usually accompanied by pain. Irritable bowl syndrome is sometimes characterized only by bloating, but usually is accompanied by cramps, constipation, or diarrhea. You might need your doctor to sort this out.

I would say see a doctor; how long has it been going on. Your question is not specific enough for anyone to really answer. As to when did this start, how long does it last when did you notice, when was your last bowel movement? Have you started a new diet, recently had surgery, or started a new medication. Are you under any stress, do you think you may recently have become pregnant. Either way be prepared for the round of questions I just asked you. If you are overly concerned see a doctor. I bet it is a possibility of pregancy.

There is such a thing as food sensitivity's, which can cause your body to bloat. pay close attention to what you are eating and what you are seeing gives you the bloating, then don't eat that food anymore. you can also take a Probiotic, this will put beneficial bacteria into your gut and it will help break the food you do eat, down so it isn't such a big issue ( no pun intended). you may also think of doing a colon cleanse, as compaction in the colon could also be contributing to your issue.

check out this link, it should help:

good luck to you, take care and be well
