I don't know about fading them a bit because you might just end up irritating your skin &/or make it more sun sensitive.

Stick with the Mederma and use a self-tanning moisturizer before your trip. Apply a bit less to the dark areas to help even them out & and blend in.

Two products to consider:
Neutrogena Summer Glow - has self tanner & SPF so you can use it on your trip too. For product information click here: http://neutrogena.com/productsdetails_36...

Jergen's Natural Glow is highly recommended but doesn't have SPF. For product information click here:

Homemade skin whitening products are by far the cheapest and safest solution to the brown spots which trouble you so much. Read here https://tinyurl.im/aHLUd

They are very effective and at the same nurture the skin, so that you will not only have a whiter skin, but a healthier one too.

Each and every person wants a clean and radiant skin. Some spend fortunes on cosmetic products that will lighten the skin and remove all the imperfections, others spend their money on esthetic operations in the hope that their skin will look perfect. Lastly, there are people trying to fake a healthy skin by using all kinds of makeup that will cover the imperfections and leave the impression that the skin is healthy and has no scars, wrinkles or spots.

All these people are looking for a way through which they can make their skin look good. Yet, what they have not taken into consideration is the power of natural ingredients. Fruits, vegetables and products coming from animals are great sources of anti-oxidants and are rich in substances which can whiten the skin, moisturize it, attenuate the fine lines and wrinkles and give it elasticity.

There is a product called Fade Cream by Ambi. They also have a body wash. You can find at your local pharmacy or definitely at a Wal-Mart or Meijer. I knew a black lady that swore by that stuff. If that doesn't work, maybe try putting your face foundation on your trouble spot.

I used to have those for years and they finally went away after a long long time but you can get them to go away lots faster if you rub vitamin E oil and papaya or pineapple or meat tenderizer on them. Meat tenderizer will slowly get rid of the top layer of skin, and they make it out of papain from papaya or pineapple bromelin. don't put it on with your bare hands, but with a not too smooth sponge. Someone I know got burns all over their body including their face and they ate pineapple and papya smoothies everyday while they were healing. Since its a little late you can put the papaya extract or fresh papaya or pineapple or meat tenderizer on your legs every morning and night.

I didn't want to assume, but if you're african american you should check out the cosmetic line Black Opal. It has an entire line of products dedicated to evening skin tone and getting rid of dark marks. You can find them at Wal-Mart. I'm not sure if you can get them anywhere else. f.y.i- if you read the back of the mederma thing it says it can take months to see results.

three weeks no problem!!!!!! first soak your legs in olive oil your skin will soak it up and cause a healthy tan glow. (its best to do this after you shower) you only have to do this five or six times. if your scars are darker you might just want to airbrush them.

Oddly enough, Shave everyday preferably at night and use babyoil directly after. My sister had these spots. it did not take them away 100% but you had to look pretty close to see them.
