Ruth and Esther

FYI
Moses penned at least 6 Bible books but none are named for him.
The book of Ruth was penned by Samuel
The book of Esther was penned by Mordecai
David wrote many of the Psalms but no book is named for him
The apostle Paul penned more Bible books than anyone else(14) but no book is named for him

EDIT
I had to answer concerning the canonicity of the Books of Ruth and Esther:
Sufficient confirmation of The canonicity of Ruth was given when Jehovah inspired the listing of Ruth in the genealogy of Jesus at Matthew 1:5. Ruth has always been recognized by the Jews as part of the Hebrew canon. It is not surprising, then, that fragments of the book have been found among the other canonical books in the Dead Sea Scrolls that were discovered starting in 1947.
Many facts establish the record in the book of Esther as authentic and factual. It was accepted by the Jewish people, who called the book simply the Meghil·lah′, meaning “roll; scroll.” It appears to have been included in the Hebrew canon by Ezra, who would certainly have rejected a fable. To this day, the Jews keep the feast of Purim, or Lots, in celebration of the great deliverance in Esther’s time. The book presents Persian manners and customs in a lifelike way and in harmony with the known facts of history and archaeological discoveries.

They are only 2 books of the bible Ruth and Esther but they were written by Samuel a prophet and Mordecai respectively. There are however, other bibical names such as Abigail, who became the wife of King David after her husband Nabal die. Then there was Rebekah the wife of Isaac, Sarah Abraham's wife, Deborah a prophetess, Naomi Ruth's companion, Lois and Eunice the grandmother and mother of Timothy and so many more God fearing women mentioned in the bible.

Did you know that the first people to know of Jesus' resurrection were women? Matthew 28:3-15.

I hope this is of help to you.

I think you mean books in the Bible, which is what Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John are. Books in the Bible that have girl names are Ruth and Esther.

Ruth and Ester as the other said.

But dont let that deter you.

Women play such an important role in the bible, even more important than men on most occasions.

Women are not second fiddle in GODs eyes.. but the men at the time and currently are imperfect.

Nope. The Bible was authored entirely by Men.

Edit: To anyone typing in Ruth and Esther, these books never made it through the Council of Nicaea and are not included in 99% of the Bibles in the world.
