It DOES sound like a good idea to apply for a job. Why should your dad not know? Get a job, do well in school, hang out with responsible, polite friends. Chat with your parents about what's going on in your life. Once in a while clear the table, pick up your shoes, turn down the music. That's what to do with your mean parents.

first- how old are you?
2nd- parents are suppose to parent--- NOT BE YOUR FRIEND THAT'S WHY WE ARE PARENTS!!!
3rd- parents are to guide and tell their children what to do- that is what a good parent does.
4th- if you are 16yr -- yes, its a good idea for you to get a part time job-- it teaches you responsibility. and to save money and budget your money and your time wisely.
this prepares teens for the world after high school.
my 17yr daughter is doing this and she is a great kid and I'm her PARENT AND NOT HER FRIEND---SHE HAS FRIENDS AT SCHOOL. AT HOME SHE NEEDS A PARENT THAT CARES AND SET RULES AND BOUNDARIES. THAT'S A PARENTS JOB WHEN WE HAVE KIDS.
YOU NEED TO GET A PART TIME JOB, GO TO SCHOOL, HELP WITH HOUSEHOLD THINGS AND BE A LITTLE LESS SELFISH- AND LEARN TO HELP OUT. ITS TIME TO. THIS IS WHAT YOU NEED TO DO. START TO GROW UP AND QUIT WINING.

Why are you afraid of getting a job? Shes not being mean she is trying to help you. I am afraid as long as you are under your parents roof they will still act as parents, when you are mature and adult and live on your own, then your parents will not direct you as you are living on your own. Its something about still living with your parents that gives them that feeling like they still need to direct you.

Stop being such a spoiled brat. Wait until you are 18 and try to make it on your own, you will appreciate your parents then.

hi,
try to move out, if you are to young to move out on your, own then talk to your aunts, or uncles, or your grandparents about you moving in with one of them. and if that doesn't work you could take it to the courts.
