After the flood ended and Noah was unloading all the animals from all over the world. How did all the predators not die out straight away? I mean...they would have had no food, there were only two of each animal of prey and that would run out quick. Also, ever time a predator killed, wouldn't they kill an entire species? Considering that there was only two of the animals left in the entire world?

I'd like to know why the three-toed sloth, which has a walking speed of about four furlongs a fortnight, walked all the way to South America from Mt Ararat without leaving any sign of its passing. Why didn't it just climb the nearest tree? Also, koalas only eat eucalypt leaves. Eucalypts are found in abundance in Australia but not between Mt Ararat and Australia. What did the koalas eat on the way home and if they found something they could eat somewhere, why didn't they stay there?

One other point, which of Noah's family had gonorrhoea? It is a purely human disease with no animal carriers so someone, or it would have been a couple, had to have it.

Noah tried to get 2 of every animal on his boat, of course he didn't succeed but he saved quite a few pairs of animals. The predators are not extinct because their ancestors lived in places that were not affected by the great flood. Noah and his ark is an anecdote was passed on as oral history for a long time before somebody wrote it down, during this time some inaccuracies appeared, but this bit of history is about as accurate as anything else from this time is.

Hi I'm Christian, studied in the manuscripts;
This is a fair question. First of all, As far as the animals on the Ark go, it was seven of every clean animal and two of every unclean animal and these were animals that lived in the area of the flood. I realize there are some who think the flood was worldwide, but actually the flood was brought upon the world of the ungodly, not the entire world. There were still loads of animals on the earth, not to mention birds and water animals to include fish, etc.
The reason for the flood, and the reason it states that it was to come "upon the world of the ungodly" was this:
Satan ordered Angelic beings to leave their habitations and come to earth to seduce human women. You can read of these Angels in the only Chapter of the Book of Jude. They wanted to involve Noah's daughters, esspecially, but Noah was a preacher who preached against them, and wouldn't allow his daughters anywhere near them. But they did marry human women, and children were being born of those unions. The offspring were called "geba", which means "giants". They were a people of large stature. Anyway, this was satans second attempt in this flesh age to pollute the pure line of lineage that womb-to-womb, down the generations thru Noah, would come the Christ Child. The flood came to that area in order to kill off this influx of hybrids. This is why it says that they were giving and taking in marriage right up until Noah entered the Ark - thats who they were giving and taking in marriage to - these fallen Angels.
So, to answer your question plainly - there were plenty of animals still on the earth, and those who were jeopardized by the flood coming to that area, were saved within the Ark.
I hope this is helpful to you.

There would have been no predators prior to the flood. Enough food to get started would not have been a problem-they were on the boat for over a year!. If God can handle that, food would be easy. We do not know how long it was before the animals changed into meat eaters. There is just too much we do not know. Speculate is all we can do.

According to what I've been taught, all animals were non-predatory before Adam's fall, and all animals will be non-predatory after the return of the Messiah. Perhaps the animals on Noah's ark were likewise transformed into non-predatory creatures. I don't really know, as the Bible is silent on this matter.

Blood flowing out of our eyeballs? What in the world is that about? How is divine intervention stopping it? Yikes.

The Noah story is the most ludicrous in the entire bible. The next time the bible is rewritten, I am betting that story will not make it. It is one that embarrasses christians the most. It is so full of holes and implausibilities, a person could write an entire series of books showing the flaws in it. Just look how many times people ask questions on here about something that does not make sense with the Noah story.

and i guess all the water was sucked back into the earth somewhere where it came from? (mass balance problem: where did the water come from and where did it go?)

and all of the 350000 species of plants that can't tolerate flooding must have grown straws to get oxygen to their roots.

i think that there are enough species of beetles alone to fill a stadium.

oh wait, i guess it was all allegorical, so we can discard the rest of the book as fiction too. whew! that was easy.
