I have my appointment scheduled for next week in the Chula Vista (San Diego) office. I was wondering if it is a whole day ordeal or just a 15 minute appointment. Thanks

You're right, it's fingerprints, photo... that kinda thing.

My husband went for his this past week. The whole thing took about 45 minutes, although half of that was waiting for his number to be called.

I don't know if your office will be faster or slower, as we are located in Wisconsin. But if you figure around one hour, I'd think you'd be good.

It takes about 15 mins once inside, but get to the office early.

it's just your fingerprints and photo, no eyescan. you will be asked to complete a form with your biographic information, i.e. name, date of birth, place of birth, height, weight, eye color and address. Takes on average about one hour, but if you have some really slow working govt. employees could take longer.
