Date for about a year. No sex, make sure he loves you, not your openings. Ensure he isn't an addict, cruel, selfish, abusive, etc. Make sure he is a college grad or a real go getter and is set financially with a nice job. He loves you more then his mommy. Ensure you share many of the big common interests: Religion, worldview, social background, number of kids to have, how to raise kids, life goals, etc.
As you can see it will take many months to sort all this out. Do not take a guy that you have to "fix." He may not change for DECADES after marriage.

Hello Wow . some many answers here. First how does he treat you? Does he respect you as a person and your thought and ideas? Does he value them. Does he support you dreams and ideas?Does he make you laugh at any given time. And last but not least. Do you love to be around him.Do you feel comfortable and at ease. Can you be yourself? If you can answer yes to all of these then I would say yes. B ut if only part be careful and if less than half no way. Good Luck RAY
