I had my stuff in storage in someone's shed. When I can finally move it, the person helping me breaks my TV. Ok, they let me keep my stuff in their shed for free for about a 1yr. But they broke my TV. Do you think we are even? I'm only asking because this person always cries broke but The person just bought a new SUV. Should I ask for them to replace my tv or let it go?

let it go, nothing is really fair in this world. people will think that you are forgiving as a person and that you are kind. in the future, that person will be kinder and maybe find a way to repay u but not always by money

If you have another tv, then yes. If you are friends then accidents happen! But you really should talk to them about maybe splitting the cost of a tv.
If your stuff was in storage then obviously your tv wasn't NEW, so it really wouldn't be fair to them for having to buy you a new tv. Try asking them to help you out with the perchase of another.

Depends on what the TV is worth. If it was a 50 inch HD plasma, I would definitely want some compensation... But if it was just an old tube TV, I would let it go.
