I think the best way is to register with an agency who will help you with all the red tape and relocation advice.

Hey rameses!! When nurses in the UK get a fair wage (or even a gauranteed job) then they will stay in the UK, with the job freeze in the NHS and threat of redundancies why shouldnt they go abroad?
Would you prefer they stayed and wasted tax payers money spent on their training by stacking shelves? coz thats whats happening

You will find that applications to enter another country are more likley to be accepted if the application is prepared by a proper solicitor. I have some visa epxeriences with friends working here and the only one who did not get the visa was the one who chose to do the paper work themselves!

Really you are going to need help on all fronts and you should consult a proper emigration solicitors. You will have to think very carefully about liquidating your assets here and getting the best exchange rate so that when you get to the states, money will not be such an issue.

Good luck

My friend did this. He enrolled with an agency that supported him with passing exams to prove he would be competent. This was to do with different drugs having different names and the fact that obviously you do not work for a NHS company. He is very happy and his family have settled well in Texas
