Girls shouldn't be ashamed of having hairy underarms. It's a sign that they are mature or maturing...no longer children. Some people say, "It's just not natural!" Well, I'm here to say that it's totally natural! In fact, there is NOT ONE WOMAN that I'm aware of that does not grow hair under her arms. I personally believe that it is very sexy to see a woman in her natural state. There is also a trend I've notices in Hollywood. The women are starting to throw their razors away. Look at Drew Barrymore, Kate Winslet, Emma Thompson, Julia Roberts, and the list goes on. My advice is to be yourself; the way God made you. There's no need to be embarrased or ashamed. In fact, in a few years, when not shaving becomes a popular thing in America, you can say you were among the first to be a true natural woman.

Sure. I shave because I like the smooth skin feeling and hairy underarms trap body odor, which is socially unacceptable. I mean, how many American women could actually get away with stinking like BO in today's society? I've known women who got fired from their jobs for refusing to wear makeup. If that's an offense you can be fired for, I'm sure BO is right up there, too.

nicely to remove the hairs you could both wax or use electrolysis this can remove the hair completely and it is going to also decrease bumps that you'll get from shaving your underarms will look smoother and softer, for the darkness you could try utilizing lemon juice each nighttime obviously no longer after waxing as this can sting like hell.

I do not have hairy underarms. I shave them daily. I don't like body hair.
At all.

I (often) don't shave, but neither are they hairy.
I'm practically a hairless wonder, with maybe 10 or 15 total on each side.

lol good one. women tend to shave their under arms so it is easier to clean. bacteria builds up in those tiny hairs and causes a stinch. easier to just shave the hair.

I don't! :-)
But I think there are negative connotations with body hair in today's culture: It feels wild, primitive, animistic, unhygienic, and aesthetically displeasing. I'm not saying that it is. Personally, I prefer the look of smooth skin.
