Seek a second opinion. But it sounds like the computer screen maybe irritating your eyes to state the obviously, maybe you should see an optician

It sounds like you might be straining your eyes at work. If you sit undeer fluorescent lights and stare at a computer for any length of time this might be the answer.
When you have a break at work close your eyes. When you get home place a slice of cucumber or a pad soaked with witch hazel over your eyes and just rest for awhile. You also might try wearing shades at work!

Try to use one of those anti-glare screens for your computer monitor. That should help reduce eye strain.
Also make sure you set your video card and monitor refresh rate settings to compatible values to reduce the amount of screen flicker.
Also try to take regular breaks from staring at your monitor all day to let your eyes get some rest. But make sure you don't fall asleep when your eyes are closed!

it sounds like your eyes are drying out from focusing on the puter screen. Try carrying some rewetting drops and using them every 2 hours or so starting at lunchtime

Try eating a banana, (the potassium in it seems to negate watery, puffy eyes). It works for me in about 20 minutes... amazing!

The best bet is to simply scoop your eyeballs out using a grapefruit spoon.
