When sleeping, the blood in your body doesn't flow as quick as when you're awake. Caffeine gives you energy, therefore you're more awake, alert and ready to move around.
I don't like to drink too much coffee in the morning, so I usually do a couple quick stretches, feet together, hands above head then reach down to your toes. One hand up and stretch to the side. Small stuff like that. Get s the blood pumping.
Also, many people keep the lights dim in the morning because it hurts their eyes. Turn those lights on ! When its dark, that tells your brain that it time to sleep/rest. When the light hits your eyes, it signals your brain to wake up.
Also, I like to take a quick shower, it helps to stimulate the skin. And I eat different kinds of fruit in the morning like, banana,apple.

Keep your curtains/blinds open so the sun can shine in and take a shower immediately. Also, maybe get a CD player alarm clock so you can wake up to an upbeat song that you really like.

Drink a big glass of cold water before you do anything else, then take a shower. Turning on the radio loudly and dancing a little also helps me get going.

get to bed early enough to allow for 6 to 8 hours of quality, uninterupted sleep. get up exercise then shower and breakfast, you'll be ready to take on the world!
