all the time in the summer if i am wearing sandals or going down to the marina. I dont get it why the question.

Yes I do it all the time in the summer time when I drive long distances. I would take off my sandals and have my bare feet on the pedals.

I don't drive but I've been a fulltime barefooter long enough to at least know it's legal, contrary to what many people believe. See source :)

yup!
anytime i'm driving for over half an hour. either i'm wearing dress shoes and my feet want to breathe, or i'm wearing flip flops and it feels weird driving in flip flops. plus i have more presice control over the pedals. i drive a automatic so it might be different with that small clutch petal

I drive barefoot all the time - never been a problem. I don't get what some think the problem might be.

Yes I have. Never had any problems with it myself, although I certainly recognize the hazards should there ever be an accident.
