Well, people clearly think you mend the motorways for fun, and otherwise they wouldn't ever need repairing, and besides, they should have scheduled it when they weren't travelling. Basic "I am the world" moron disease.
Maybe you should ask some of these geniuses to submit their master plan of how to Tarmac(R) the middle lane of a motorway without causing a jam.

its not true. everyone these days is just in too much hurry to get to where theyre going, theyre not satisfied with anything. they have a new phone that does all this crazy stuff, a few months later the new update edition phone is available, they'll go out an buy that because its 'better, faster, more efficient'... noone is happy with todays society and its easy to blame. youre job might be annoying to those people who are late for their job interview, or to the hospital to visit their nan - but its their fault for not planning ahead. these days you can listne to the radio an look on the net and find where road works are happening. tell your friends (or the 'people') to stick their opinions up their 'as$'. its a very good job and should be respected more. im pretty sure if noone did your job, there would be more people complaining!!

I think you are very brave and some people think they own the road and they just need to get off there high and mighty sh_t and realize they don't own the roads and if they do they need to get out there and do the work themselves so you don't have to risk your life. Otherwise let them just deal with it, you are just doing your job and doing it the best that you can. Thank-You and keep up the good work, anyone in a rush should leave earlier .

Keep doing the job. People are just intollerent of anything that gets in their way. They set off on journeys at the last minute and get upset when part of a road is closed. The job has to be done just ignore the awful comments you will get.

You have a really important job, you help to keep people safe! Yeah it might be a little inconvient at times, but what about the ONE person whose life you saved today? That should be enough to help you sleep everynight.

Tell those people to f*** off, because it's those same people who expect patience when they're taking for ever to do something or they're doin a job that hinders others, and then they get pissed when other people are yellin or honking...so screw them you just keep doin what you do best. Coming from a car enthusiast, let me say that i appreciate what you do.

Yes it is annoying but very necessary I think you and other people in your line of work are easy targets motorists just see you as a hindrance but on a clear stretch of road they don't give you a second thought but thanks anyway for all you do for us. P.S your job isn't as annoying as your spelling though.
