My neighbor's fiance is very rude. She talks about my husband and I behind our backs and leaves the room whenever we're over to visit. She rolls her eyes and makes rude comments constantly. It wouldn't bother me so much if she wasn't so childish about it. She's 27! How do I handle this without losing my temper?

the question is what you hope to gain...

Basically you are at a point where you don't want to accept that so you can begin by telling him how it makes you feel... not confrontational... just matter of fact... hey neighbor... it hurts us when this happens...

Don't be judgemental... don't tell him "she is rude" instead say "I see it as rude when she does blah blah blah"...

Don't accuse her of anything... if she is rolling her eyes and what not don't bring that up... just say something like you get the impression from her that she doesn't like you... and what not... his instinct may be to defend her if you attack... but if you word it such that you are hurt... without blaming words he may be able to hear what you are saying....

Hopefully he will talk with her about it... if not you have to step it up a notch and just let him and her know... that you will not be associating with them unless...

Stop hanging around them, and if you have to be around her, just be polite.
