If he loads it and fires it, don't stand nearby!
I don't think a .380 (9mm short) will chamber .38 Super, but its a Llama so it may be a .38 Super.

Does it say .380 on one side and 9x17 (9mm kurz, 9mm courto, 9mm short) on the other? This question is scary-to say the least!
I think I hear some banjos up the river.

?? If they fit, good because 9mm and .38 supers do not interchange. It could be a model VIII (or C-VIII in satin chrome) or model IX-C (aka govt. model, like our 1911s in .45acp, and maybe slightly smaller). .38 Super pistols are not real common or as popular as they once were. Many .38 Supers were used for shooting competitions back when. Probably makes it worth a little more than one in 9mm or .45acp. Might be hard to find parts or magazines, but not impossible. Enjoy. You have a nice pistol.
PS-I had a Llama Mini-Max in .45acp. Full sized Colt magazines fit and functioned perfectly. Colt .38 Super magazines might fit your Llama, too. Good luck.

It should be marked on the barrel what the correct chambering is.
