i saw on TV that bird poop has 16 or more different diseases including salminella.. is that true?

Yes, birds are a well known host and carrier of disease causing agents. Various bacteria, especially gastrointestinal organisms such as Salmonella, E. coli and Campylobacter can be isolated from bird faeces. Other disease causing agents include flu viruses, intracellular parasites are also commonly found.
