okay so i moved here late in hs...and now im in college but its only a junior college so ppl r real laid back , go to class , go work work hangout with there present friends...so ppl arent really there to open to meet people(ive asked ppl i talked to one semester and they say yeah ppl talk one semester then the next they stop not a good place to meet ppl) i got a job at a clothing store...and im about to sign up for a church organ....and volunteer work cause i think i would feel better as a person and same time meet ppl? how do i get rid of this self conscious as far as what im gonna say to ppl to get to know them?

I think your plan sounds cool and the more people you meet the easier it will be to talk to them and get over your self consciousness
try to say hi to everyone you pass on the street and smile at people too...always a good pick-me-up and it might be the only smile and hello that person gets today

U should meet alot of folks at the job at the clothin store and also church.
U can meet folks on the internet. Some folks meet from the internet and hook up and marry fast and live happily ever after.
