Ummm...NONE.
If you do some research online, you'll find that pushups and situps are probably some of the worst exercises that you can do. Pushups have been shown to cause a great amount of stress on the shoulder muscles and situps put a great deal of strain on the hip flexers and lower back.
Depending on what your goals are, you are better off starting a strength training and cardio program. Hit up the gym and you'll find machines that can build strength in those target areas but without the long-term negative health effects that those exercises have.

What are you trying to achieve? If you are trying to lose weight then pushups & situps won't do it, you need a cardio workout. If you are trying to tone, I would aim for 25 pushups and 50 situps - working up to those totals. As you get better with the sit ups you can add weight to your chest to make them more difficult.

depends on how old you are.....but if thats where you are now, keep going. In 1980, Minoru Yoshida from Japan did 10, 507 push ups in a row. And another man did situps for 30 straight hours. Your ok where your at, but keep going, more cant hurt. Try doing a few sets of the push ups and sit ups..and every week try adding 5. You will be doing more and more, and before you know it you could be in the Guiness Book of Records...not to mention, very strong.

As many as you can. Your body will adapt and should be able to do more and more over time. Right now I can do 5 sets of 70 pushups. I know a few guys in the Marines who can crank out close to 100 in 60 seconds. Jack Lalanne once did over 1,000 on his show which I think was within a half hour.
p.s. put your legs on a chair to make them harder
