OK...some correct answers instead of the above tripe.
I assume you are a British Citizen with a British passport. You are travelling to Paris by Eurostar from Waterloo.

The French Embassy's website says (of Brit Cits): As the holder of a British passport, you may travel to France up until the expiry date of your travel document.

The Immigration control at WATERLOO is operated by the FRENCH AUTHORITIES ie you pass French Immigration whilst technically still on UK soil. The Control at Gard Du Nord is operated by the UK IS. The UK IS will not stop you travelling to the UK if you are a British Citizen.

Your greatest worry is that the carrier will not take you. Check with Eurostar in case they have any internal restrictions on carriage with a limited passport. You can also check with the French Embassy and the PAF (French Immigration) at Waterloo.
If you do get OFFICAL advice (unlike this) then get names.

Later....interesting advice from another user regarding a "weekly travel visa". What the hell is that? Something s/he just made up?!

You are a British citizen. Britain is a member of the EU, all those
treaties included the right for EU citizens to travel freely throughout the EU on a their national passport without the requirement of an extra visa.

Check with the British passport office if due to security arrangements things have changed the cheapest way may be to obtain a weekly travel Visa.

No. i don't even think of which you would be waiting to envision in at your interior reach airport to envision your bags with an expiration date that quickly around the bend. And in case you're able to, the Malay customs and immigrations human beings on the KUL airport will turn you away once you arrive and could probably provide you a journey to the British Embassy in the event that they are having an outstanding day and feeling charitable. attempt to get your passport renewed in case you are able to, or postpone your holiday if achieveable and wait on your new passport to reach. superb of success.

No, I think you need to have a minimum of 6 months left on your passport on the day that you travel BACK TO the UK!

Not a good idea. Your passport generally needs to be valid six months from the date of entry.

UK immigration will probably stop you before you can board the train.

most countries will not allow you to travel without at least 6 months left on your passport , besides , you will not be able to leave the country of origin without the time left on it ........if you are going by eurostar ? sure ......but not to cross the ocean , such as from US to another country .....
but ? where and which country are you from ? are you in Europe ? if so ? a regular ID will be okay :-)
