that is for your conscience to decide.

Interesting question. I think it would have to fall under one of the Seven Deadly Sins: Vanity.
The only exceptions being those that were caused by birth defects(like a cleft pallet) or accidents.

Pride is a sin.
Vanity is a sin.
That'd just about answer that one.
Any woman getting elective surgery should consider instead sending her money to a "Smile" foundation that does plastic surgery on 3rd world children with enormous cleft palate and harelip problems.

If you want to change how you look, you would be doing it to please someone else. You can like yourself, or dislike yourself, but either way you have a reason why. If you like yourself, you have good reason to, if you dislike yourself, you have good reasons not to like yourself. But the question you have to ask is, is there really a good reasaon NOT to like yourself.
My opinion, they are transforming themselves to fit into a public mold or stereo type. For shame, I'll see you on reality t.v...if I care enough to watch.

for christians version 1a yes it would be a sin! For born agains and version35c no they are allowed.
Then again for the version 123h and the version 12-hd it would be a sin, unless they did it when they were drunk then it is o.k.!
Then there is the born again and agains for them nothing is allowed except to be born again and again and again and again, you know how that goes!

Umm, I wouldn't think that's a good idea. They would be changing the way God made them look. Wow.

it is not a sin but i think it is wrong. God made us through His image and likeness, therefore we should be contented of what was given to us. people who changed their looks are living up to man's standard not of Gods.

it is a sin because it sins the second commandment. thou shalt have no gods in image of anything in heaven nor on earth. you know that you're just animals. just like you touch animals and are satisfied.

It's like getting up and fixing your hair. If you didn't, you wouldn't like the way it looked. What's the big deal????
