I am not talking about which is more spoken.
which is more rich with more history.

They're both so deeply rooted. You really can't talk about which one is better because you'd have to define the criteria.

If you're talking history then it is most likely Spanish. Latin (spanish's predecessor) has been around longer than Anglo-saxan

That is a difficult question. English is appropriate for sciences, Spanish for emotions, poetry, beauty.
Spanish has been forming since the XI century, or maybe even earlier. Spanish has the Royal Academy of the Spanish Language in Madrid to determine what is correct and what is not

spanish is more rich with history, there are many types of different spanish ways to talk since christopher columbus knew spanish so it was taught to many people but like other languages they get twisted so new words in spanish come up , but once you search the language and its roots you will find a lot of interesting things about it because the french and the italian have a lot of spanish in it too : )

Maybe Spanish but English is the preferred language the world over.
English is the language of international commerce and technology.
For example when a person from Japan meets with a person from Germany they use English as a common language for communication.
Not French !
And not Spanish.

I would say Spanish. It was already working when english was still Anglo Saxon.

Spanish is richer due to its history (Latin), but English is widely spoken. Both languages have their pros and cons, it is all a matter of taste, situation and location.

well in English we use far less words than was used 500 years ago. People like Shakespear evenmade words up...which has always made me think, how did people know what he meant. I only speak Irish and English so I can't comment further. Sorry

There is no way to compare languages and their history. That is like asking who is better...older people or younger people and who has more history? Besides, there are younger/older variations of both languages.
