I just read this article about Splenda! wow, its soo incredibly scary,
it is comprised of the same chemical molecules as pesticides and
was shown to enlarge kindeys and livers in animals that were tested,
yet it is in everything we consume now! I personally cant stand the
taste of it, its 60 times sweeter than natural sugar. Anyone else
out there have any thoughts on this????

It seems there are all kinds of dangers in all our foods from one chemical or another. Are we to starve ourselves to death to avoid dying from these additives and preservatives?
Even if we grow our own food, there are toxic chemicals in the very rain that falls and contaminates our gardens to a certain extent.
Unless a product is dropping people like flies - we cant afford to live in fear over it. We must eat, and trust me - more studies will be done, and more chemicals will be claimed as dangerous.
The truth is - even the so called pure water you buy in the stores have some amount of contamination - though minute, its still there.
Dying of starvation is not a pleasant ordeal. So we have to decide on what the lesser evil is and make a judgment call.

As I am always dieting, I look for any way to cut calories. I have survived saccharine so I don't think the splenda will do me in.

no - it's fine (my husband uses it all the time) Some might say it causes cancer but everything does.
Besides, any studies that are performed on any product always give the rats such high does that it makes the study worthless.

Everything you eat or drink is suppose to kill you I use Splenda I don`t have any problems with it I figure when its my time to die then I will.

i don't that' true because i've tried the splenda sweetner and it tastes very good and sweet and i don't think they add animal liver.
