After the specified waiting period, you can apply for citizenship. But having a baby in the USA doesn't and shouldn't guarantee or speed up the right to citizenship. Thank you for making the effort to be in the USA legally. If it was up to me, I would give you preference in the citizenship line because you came here legally. However, if you committed any crimes while you were here, I would take that preference away, post-haste.

The answer to your question is no. Only after your child has turned 18 years of age can he or she apply for you as his or her parents to become legal citizens of the United States.
This comes from INS experts .com:
United States citizenship can be obtained in one of four ways:
• birth in the United States or its territories
• birth to US citizen parents
• Naturalization of one's parents
• Naturalization

No, what has the birth to do with your citizenship? You can apply based on employment, living and working for several years in the US and meeting specific criteria:

Your baby has nothing to do with it. If you have been a permenant resident for 5 years, you can apply for citizenship, with or without baby.
If you haven't been, barring unusual circumstances, you can't.
Also with or without baby.

Don't expect to use your child as an anchor baby. Follow the rules for immigrating legally and you can apply and will probably be accepted. Break those rules and hasta la vista - bye bye.

no. You would still have to meet all the other requirments as us citizens. Haven't they stopped that--if your child is born in the US and you're not a citizen then neither is the child.

Please don't get me started on this topic. Call immigration and go about it the proper way. Don't have a child for the wrong reasons. There is way too much of this going on in the United States.
