Ok, I know what I believe in, but I haven't found a religion that has alot of my beliefs. I believe that there is 1 God out there. No father, son, holy spirit thing. I believe that God created the first living creature and put it where he wanted it and let it go to do what he intended. I don't believe in Adam n Eve or the bible. I semi-believe in Satan. I believe in karma. I was brought up Catholic but it's not what I believe. When I was forced 2g2 church, I would listen and completely disagree w/most of what the priest said. I don't have any strong religious beliefs. I don't believe that if I don't practice my faith I am going to hell. I think every man, woman and animal was created equal. I don't believe animals are on earth for man's profit. I undrstnd that God is all powerful and all that jazz but I don't think he wants us to sit there every week and preach how wonderful he is. I just don't think that's how it works. I have more 2say but ran out of room. Hope I ddnt offend ne1.

To answer what people are saying: I'm sorry that my "inability to write english" offended you but you must have missed the part where I said I was running out of room. I wanted to explain my beliefs and I was getting all the extra space I could get. But thanks so much for helping to answer my question. But seriously thank you to all the people who took my question seriously and gave me honest responses. It really helped.

Sounds like Buddhism. I was also raised Catholic but I feel the same way as you. I have recently been doing a lot of reading up on Buddhism. You should check it out. But really do you need to lable yourself with any religion? After years of being forced into going to the Catholic Church I realized its more important just to be spiritual and focus on being a good person bottom line.

Good luck : ).

Try Beliefnet's religion quiz. Then, you can get some ideas, check out the top few, and maybe you'll find a denomination under that religion that fits you better. Or you might just be SORT OF like a religion but not quite and have to do a bit of your own thing.

Well, you're a theist but obviously not Christian. It almost sounds like a form of Judaism, but since you don't want communal worship, that might be out, too. I'm thinking some form of "pagan," but I don't know enough about pagan beliefs to take it much further.

You might want to explore philosophies such as Buddism. Sounds like a better fit for you.

I wish that I could be 100% sure before I tell you. I'm on my own quest myself. I think what you are describing might be the Baha'i faith. I haven't checked into that one yet, but I think that might be what you are describing.

Best of luck.

I'm not sure why anyone who believes in God could determine what He is like and what he expects. Gravity doesn't depend on me either.
