Sounds like a nervous tic. If so will stop when you get accustomed to or past whatever situation you are nervous about.

A second possibility although somewhat unlikely is a nerve is pinched high on your spine. But this is less common by far.

Have had the same tic at times. First time was when my father had a heart attack during finals week of my Junior year of college. Passed finals, he recovered and the tic went away.

I have the same thing. Cut down off caffeine, apply a warm compress to the eye - per the doctor I saw. I also take, and it does work,a homeopathic remedy by BORON called Physostigma Ven 6c. If you have a homeopathic pharmacy in your town they'll sell it. The doctor also thought I might need a stronger eye prescription which I declined. An eye twitch can occur if the eye is overworking. If none of the above work, have your eyes tested. Hope this information helps.

Lay off the caffine! Coke, Coffee(Starbucks), Chocolate, all of theese have caffine and can cause the eye twitch along with stress and anxiety.

I'm having the same thing now... I think it is either a repressed thought or anxiety and stress. Think on what is going on in your life right now that could be causing the stress.Try to find a way to relax (reading, nice warm bath, hot chocolate), and I hope it stops soon.

Stress and caffine are the two primary triggers for this type of event. Try eliminating/ reducing them for a few days and see if it resolves.

Elders say it's a sign of good or bad luck depending on the eye. My grandmother has said it all my life so , I guess I believe it!

LACK OF SLEEP WILL DO THAT
ALSO HAVING ANXIETY AND NERVES WILL CAUSE IT TOO!
