I done this trip last year. It took about 2 1/2 hours. Go down M62 until you reach Leeds, Just after Leeds you turn left onto the M1 which takes you into Newcastle. I would say about a full tank of fuel for a return journey.

Depending on which part of Newcastle but around 2.30Min's to 3hrs, if i was you I'd fill the tank petrol consumption varies according to your speed.

click on google earth maps,click on 'get directions',enter your postcode,then your destination postcode, it will give you directions,time it will take and how many miles it is,then from the miles you can work out how much petrol you will need,as a rough guide £10 = 100 miles depending on engine size

it'll take around 3hrs and i would just fill your tank up and that should get you there and back no problem
