Do women take a career into consideration when dating a guy? Or do you not care if he is a loser and broke?

Of course they do. If I have a good career I certainly don't want to date someone beneath my status.

Aparantly women prefer the broke loser.
Look at any episode of Jerry Springer, Judge Judy and Divorce court... broke losers with 2, 3, 4...10.....20 women after him for child support.

Personally, as a woman, a job tells you something about a man's character. Some women are gold diggers, and other women just want to get laid. I can't say I am either or; but I judge a man by his work ethic. Perhaps his job isn't glamorous or good paying but if he always puts his best foot forward and is a hard worker, it attests to his sense of self-responsibility, worth and pride. It is not the job that you have but how well you do that job. And stay away from any woman you deem a 'gold-digger'

Actually I know some guys who are employed who are losers and broke. I generally look towards what kind of character a guy has. If he's been unemployed for six years and drives a Gremlin then it's a good sign he's not all that stable.

a broke loser is not appealing to anyone!!!! There is no future in it so whats the point. Hell I can take a broke man because financial status always can change but a loser is a loser for life!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't care if my bf worked here in the city for less money. He works on the rigs and I HATE his job because he's gone so long. I wouldn't care if he worked fast food. I love him for who he is not where he works.
STp I work two jobs I honestly don't care about what he makes I'm self supporting. I don't rely on anyone but myself. You need to rethink your position that ALL women just care about money, it's dishonest.

i'm sorry but i kinda want my man to be able to support a family with me and i also want him to have a brain. i mean i want some conversations that have to do with more than just how to cook the stake and when are we gonna get that hot tub ya know?

In my experience it matters...they look for security...(naturally that is) But if ther truly love you...then it should not matter
