Hey, I'm 18 and I've been trying to get some BIG gains in muscle. I'm already familiar with whey protein so I was wondering which supplements should I try next? I hear creatine and glutamine are pretty good. Just want opinions.

Glutamine is great, but mainly helps protect what muscle you already have so that it doesn't break down during your intensive workouts.
Whey protein is by far the most popular option out there, and there are some really good products out there. I always check the ingredients though, be careful with any artificial sweeteners.
I'd check to see what some of the natural whey products are, because although they are a little harder to find, they are out there.

First and foremost you need to change your mindset from being what you are now, to being bigger, if that's what you want. Use the supplements right before and after your workout, and make sure you vary what you eat throughout the day so you don't get bored of eating the same thing.
Always eat fish, tuna, lean meats, chicken is great. Any of those things will help you out tremendously. It can be done just by eating normal foods, but sometimes there's not enough time to cook so we turn to supplements. But that's what they are: They supplement you, they shouldn't be your main source of food.

if your going to be looking for big mass gains, then ya, cycling on creatine will help. Creatine increases water retension, so your body holds more in. Your muscles are more hydrated, and you weigh more (water weight). Its mainly used to help with plateau's. the heavier you are, usually the easier it is to lift the weight your having trouble on.

i dont know how intense you want to go, like how far you want to take a supplement... but if you want to go big, try looking up Anabolic Extreme... basically superdrol.

but dont do this unless you feel your ready for a real supp.

anyways, glutamine is just an amino acid, and you wont see any huge gains by basically just taking a vitamin.

hope some of this helps. take care.

Creatine is good. Why spend more on more glutamine??? It's already naturally occuring in whey protein. I know one scoop of Designer Whey has like 3 grams of glutamine plus peptides.
