no, one of friends plays in varsity softball and she is the same weight...that's not fat. muscle weights a lot more than fat a nd it also depends on your body.

That weight is most likely a bit heavy for a female who is 5'9", even if she generally has a bigger build.

Try this website out: http://www.halls.md/body-mass-index/bmi.htm

It calculates BMI (Body Mass Index), which is what you should consider when wondering about proprotional weights and heights.

hhhmm it does sound kind of alot for 14 year old... my little cousin is 11 and weight 100 lbs (15 pounds less than me and I'm 21 and I'm pretty athletic... in fact some people had said I look a bit muscular), and he is considered overweight since he is a bit short.

If you show some sort of picture then maybe we can tell... her height can help too (then we can compare it to the average weight for her body type)... if she looks healthy to you... weight wouldn't matter much.

unless she has a lot of muscle. it sounds fat. 180 on any woman sounds a little big to me. no offense. she is playing sports so she is athletic thats a plus but probably needs to watch what she eats.

I dont think she is fat and just tell her STOP you are not fat jeppers creepers. I actually play softball and I am not fat but I am not that devoted to the sport and she seems like she is.

Get you body fat percentage checked. That will tell you if the extra build is unhealthy. Depending on her height, the correct weight can be figured out.

lvoe your body... don't feel obligated to be a size 2 when you were made for siz 8. some people are just petite and some aren't. some girls are more muscle and bigger. i wouldn't worry about it if you are being physical and eating right. you're probably the perfect weight for your body.

How tall is she? If she's 5' tall then she's quite overweight...if she's around 6' then she's fine.

However, for her age, that does seem a bit high...she's still growing and that's putting strain on her young body that it doesn't need.

If she's athletic, then it's all muscle, not fat. Why did you ask if you personally weighed too much?
