800 calories a day isn't going to make you fatter. Just make sure that you're eating right, not just eating less! If the 800 calories are from wasteful foods like white bread and chips, then you're going to have a problem. But if you're eating 800 nutritious calories, you'll lose the fat. A standard female body burns 1,500 calroies a day, while you're only taking in 800. That's good.

Yes, dieting with less that approximately 1200 kcals causes you to go into a state of Starvation which your body doesn't like and it begins to shut down your metabolism resulting in low energy, fatigue and possible weight gain. It is more important the mix of calories that you take in.

Well, sort of. Once you go below 1200 calories, your body goes into starvation mode. If you're not exercising, then everything you eat will be retained by the body. You might not gain necessarily, but you won't lose at all.

no it is not good because your body will go into starvation mode and start storing everything you eat as fat and then you will start to gain weight. you need to eat between 1200-1500 calories a day that way your body wont think its starving and wont store the fat.

It all depends on your bmi, your bone structure and your frame. However, that doesnt sound healthy.
Try cutting 200 cals a day from your usual intake, and include exercise; this is a healthier way of achieving weight-loss.
