1 Peter 4:3-5

3For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry. 4They think it strange that you do not plunge with them into the same flood of dissipation, and they heap abuse on you. 5But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

It speaks the truth.

1 Peter 4:1Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin. 2 As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.
6For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.
7The end of all things is near.

Its something that reasonable people should take very seriously.
The first part says that sufficient time has passed for us to decide if the
religions of the world are telling us the truth. It says that (we)used
to(true Christians)pratice the things of the world, loose conduct,
lusts,over drinking,drunken parties,and Idolatry's.Then it tells us
that because we stopped praticing these things, and have turned
away from these things that the people of the world are puzzled
and and dont understand, and speak abusively of us.and
persecute us.Then it tells us that these persecuters and revilers
will have to answer to God for their errors.

I am Pagan, and I don't have any debauchery. Where do you get that? Do they hand that out at Pagan Pride Day, cause I missed it last year? I guess I'm not a very good Pagan.

I think it means that people who are doing negative things around you aren't happy unless you join in with them and when you don't do what they are doing they make it seem like you are wrong.

It is just another form of peer pressure that has been going on for centuries.

It is funny because early christians were hated because people suspected they were practicing all that sick **** that Peter accuses pagans of.
