I prepare children not only for preschool, but life as well. I teach children strong values and respect for others, while having fun at the same time. I believe too many parents expect perfection when there really is no such thing. Safety is number one. I love to go out and explore the environment around. It is a great, fun stimulation for kids while also being educational and informative. Staying inside for the most part is not my forte. I like to plan daily art and music activities for children. I also encourage weekly play dates with other families. Lastly, when it comes to discipline, I strongly believe in positive reinforcement and following certain rules. I try not to be too serious and have an enjoyable time, but I will not tolerate disrespect and bad manners. Generally, I find that "time out" chairs or areas work very well. Not too bad but it is a little long...if this is yours, try cleaning it up a little by removing unnecessary stuff like "why" you do something. you can cover that in the interview. would be helpful to include that you have references available.
