Roaccutane capsules contain the active ingredient isotretinoin and Isotretinoin taken by mouth works by reducing the production of the skin’s natural oil (sebum). The oil in your skin will slow down and the medication will stem the flow however you will notice that your Acne will get worse before it gets better this is usually after over a week however a complete cure will take around 14-16 weeks..so be patient..

And lastly do not take any notice to lame comments regarding your condition..this is called bullying, as you are an easy target for people that feel bad about themselves and use your condition as a diversion from themselve's hope this help.

Yeah, accutane (aka roaccutane) is great for acne, but it can take 4-6 weeks to work. Mine got worse before it got better. Sucks, but it eventually works and REALLY works well.

You should notice a significant improvement once you switch to 70 mg. My dose was never titrated like yours. I started off at a pretty high dose. Perhaps your doc is just seeing how you react to it, before giving you get the dose that is right for your weight (dosing goes by weight, by the way).

Tough it out for a couple more weeks. It will get better. No one just doesn't respond to accutane. Really. A couple more weeks of treatment in combo with the increase in doseage will do the trick!! You'll see.

Maybe make an earlier appt with your doc??

I have no idea what roaccutane is, but have you ever tried using tea tree oil on your face? It really works! Toothpaste is also good when dabbed on those extra big spots.

i know how you feel
trust me - people will not feel as bad about you face as you seem to
stand tall and show them the great personality inside
most people are so worried about how they look - if they have one tiny pimple they can feel it is huge
make the most of your life - this is NOT a dress rehearsal - ENJOY
