no give her the space and take someone else. she will interpret your invitation as you trying to get back with her / smothering her.
Another thing is, people tend to take things for granted. If she realises that you are getting on with your life she might realise what she has lost. If she knows you are always there she might become more complacent and it could push you further apart anyway

No matter what happens, you'll wonder what would have happened had you attended the event together. I suggest you call her, keep it casual, but tell her that you still have the tickets for the concert and wondered if she still wanted to attend since it's her favorite band. Then if she blows you off, you'll feel better about finding a 'replacement'. And if you do, ask the hottest chick you know to accompany her. That'll probably get her attention. In any event, it seems like you'd like for her to attend with you. Just take the cues from her if you do wind up going together, and determine if she wants to rekindle the romance. Otherwise, it could be the start to a solid friendship. You sound like a really nice guy. Good Luck

To be completely honest I would think that this would be a bad idea as I have just broken up with my boyfriend and I really do still love him but I am aware that we can no longer be together because so much went wrong I suggest that in good faith give her the tickets as it would be a lovely reminder of all the planning you did together and who knows perhaps she might ask u to go.

id call her up and see how she feels about it. I mean tickets for a band are a pretty big deal, and you can keep the conversation casual. Just mention that you still have the tickets and ask what she wants to do aobut it. It may be she wants to go with you, it may be she wants to buy the tickets from you. But doing it in a casual way cant hurt anything.

Id be the better man. Give her the tickets. If you still like her, she might invite you with her, or take it as an appolige. Even if she doesnt except them, you will still feel like you tired. That is only if you like/love her and want to get back together, which thats wat it sound like. To make it romantic, send her the tickets with a note saying Im Sorry, and mail it. It will make her think, and hopefully you will get a call. Like you are trying to do, give her some space and be nice.

Phone her but don't invite her...
tell her that you understand that you're 'broke up' but your planing to go to the gig and that you know how much she was looking forward to it and would have no objection if she still wanted to go.
Its then down to her in a way, to ask to come.
If she Say's no, then she is saying she doesn't want to go and not that she isn't accepting your invitation.
