I basically need a program that has the ability to store dates, appointments I may have or school work. I need to use it as a reminder as I have alot of work to do. Anybody know of any good ones?

Free (in both cost and license) calendar programs?

Sunbird is one that I use - http://www.mozilla.org/projects/calendar/sunbird/

Stay away from Microsoft stuff - they're well known for being flawed, inflexible and only working well with each other.

I highly recommend Firefox (surfing the web) and I'm going to finish off by also recommending Thunderbird (e-mail). All three are from Mozilla.

Did you know you can check / download your Yahoo mail in Thunderbird without paying for POP3 access?
Webmail - http://webmail.mozdev.org/installation.html
And hotmail and aol and gmail (without having to have wierd settings to remember) and a few others as well?

There are so many good software programs available that it is hard to pick out one as being superior to all the others. Your computer manufacture or the store where you bought your computer probably has something available for free,
